World trade is based on the movement of containers that have to be quickly loaded and/or unloaded once the ship docks at the port. Heavy duty cable trolley systems in this case require continuous operation with the shortest possible maintenance time. The so-called "dry" inland ports also require the use of these systems for loading and unloading containers for shipment by rail or road.
